The Fairview Water District prepares an annual budget in accordance with Oregon Local Budget Law for a fiscal year that runs from July 1 through June 30. The budget outlines the District's expected revenues and expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year and helps ensure that funds are managed responsibly to support the operation, maintenance, and improvement of the District's water system.
The budget process includes review by the District's Budget Committee. Fairview Water District's Budget Committee is composed of the five members of the Board of Commissioners and an equal number of citizen members appointed by the Board. The Budget Committee reviews the proposed budget, receives public comment, and approves the budget before it moves forward to the Board of Commissioners for adoption.

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Fairview Water district, Tillamook County, Oregon, will be held on March 26, 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Swiss Hall, 4605 Brookfield Avenue, Tillamook, Oregon. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and any public comment on the proposed budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. A copy of the proposed budget may be inspected or obtained on or after March 10, 2026 at the Fairview Water District office, located at 403 Marolf Loop Road, Tillamook, Oregon, or just below on this webpage. The Budget Committee may meet again on April 30, 2026, if necessary, to complete its review of the budget.
